Because, Japan is my favorite place where I want to go I've bought this tourist guide. It's the current book I'm reading. In my opinion, it's very interesting and described in detail about history, nature, people, art & culture and discovering Japan from North to the South (including city maps of most important cities + Tokyo subway and urban railways.)

I hope I can realize my dream visiting Japan soon. :)

In 8500 Meter Höhe - at a height of 8.500 metres

On May 9th, I had the opportunity to go to my parents place again, because I wanted to celebrate my birthday in family and birthday of my nephew too. I promised this to him.

I could plan this trip much better than in April, because people in office, what a wonder, didn't laze away my reply for leave, they really accepted my reply punctually. So I could buy a stand-by ticket for open flights to Berlin, because I wanted to take a plane for traveling again. This stand-by ticket is a special offer by airlines to employees at airport...it's much cheaper although it's not really safe if you'll get a flight. But buying this ticket was asking the lady at counter if there are open flights enough. She told me, I needn't be afraid there'll be flights enough. :)

So I took the plane to Berlin on Tuesday. It was my first flight after a time of 21 years and I enjoyed it very much...window seat behind airfoil. It's really the best seat you can have, because you can watch each move and turn enjoying an flight.

Arrived to Berlin I took the train to my parents place. It was not an fast train called ICE, it was just a train called "Regional Express" a faster kind of "slow train" because it doesn't stop at each "milk rack" ...just at most importants. :)

One of these important "milk racks" because ICE trains also stop there, was station Ludwigslust. From there, my parents picked me up for driving home. I stayed at my parents place until May 12th because I had to work again on May 13th. On May 14th + 15th, I enjoyed days off again. :) That's funny or strange a little bit, but I planned so.

Who is watching whom?

Frohe Ostern - Happy Easter - Feliz Páscoa - 嬉しいイースター

Happy Easter Posted by Picasa

Finally...

Posted by Picasa ...after a time of 6 months, I had the opportunity visiting my parents place again.

I was really glad about this and to see all of my family again because
It was hard to get the assent. You must know people in office lost my application for leave. They couldn't find it. So I had to ask many times and do many phone calls before I got the assent on Friday evening.

When I arrived there weather was wonderful though, but I also could see nature isn't so far yet as at my current place of living and my work. I only could see crocuses, snowdrops and spring snowflakes. But a good sign was bees began to fly again.

Marsh Area "Langenhägener Seewiesen" - A Place Where Cranes Meet

Yesterday, I drove to a marsh area called "Langenhägener Seewiesen". This place is near my home town Lübz and well known for its cranes which meet there before flying to Spain, Portugal and the nort of Africa. As you can see you also can enjoy wonderful sunsets.

I also tried taking pictures of flying cranes. If the pictures are well done I'll also post these here. Posted by Picasa

For a lot of spiders and their webs we call summerlike weather in September "indian summer" (Altweibersommer) here because against sunlight gossamer look like hair of old women. Posted by Picasa
